ALCOHOL CODE - FINALS
In all Semi and Grand Finals, supporters of Competing Clubs are not entitled to consume their own alcohol at any venue. This is in line with Licensing conditions imposed on Clubs, and to ensure compliance with Council guidelines.
The VTCA places the onus upon the Competing Clubs in any Finals game to ensure that their supporters adhere to this Alcohol Code.
Where a Host Club finds a breach of this Code, they will advise the VTCA and the Competing Club that they believe to be in breach of the Code and give that Competing Club the opportunity to address the issue.
Should the Competing Club in breach be unable to enforce compliance they shall lose their entitlement to change room facilities for the remainder of that Final.
A second failure to comply shall result in a loss of entitlement to Host Club facilities such as canteen and clubrooms as well as a fine to be determined by the Board of Management.
