The Victorian Turf Cricket Association are delighted to announce we have formed a new Corporate Partnership with a great iconic and long-standing Australian company.
Evan Evans have secured the Naming Rights Sponsorship of the Charles Clark Shield Division 4 for at least the next three seasons, which will now make it the Evan Evans / Charles Clark Shield Division 4.
Evan Evans first started operations in 1877 as a family-owned company and continue to remain so today under Managing Director Roger Cameron.
Evan Evans have long been suppliers to the VTCA and over the journey we have recognised that it is evident that we share many similar traits.
“We both are leaders in our fields, we are both organisations that are well into our second centuries of operation, we share common values and ideologies, and both have a determined commitment to ensure our stakeholders / customers are provided with the best possible product or outcome. Not to mention we are geographically well aligned too - a Corporate Partnership had an inevitability about it with this Great Australian Iconic Brand”, said VTCA President Steve McNamara.
On formalising the partnership Evan Evans Managing Director Roger Cameron said, “Evan Evans is delighted to hold the naming rights to the Charles Clark Division 4 championship. Evan Evans has been manufacturing Flags and signs for nearly as long as Cricket has been played in Australia. With the VTCA celebrating their 120th Anniversary next year and with some of what is in the planning to recognise that milestone, we were thrilled to be coming on board at this time”.
From a broader association perspective, this is another VTCA Corporate Partner that will provide valuable benefits for our clubs and members. For any digital printing requirements, Evan Evans are the leaders in their field and clubs would be familiar with our premiership flags which they produce, we also have pull up banners, signage but other areas clubs should take a look at are Sponsors Marquee’s or Shade Gazebo’s, indoor / outdoor signage, their product range is diverse, check out their website and give their friendly and knowledgeable staff a call – be sure to let them know you’re a VTCA member.
VTCA President Steve McNamara added, “I look forward to working even closer with this iconic brand moving forward and am delighted to partner up with another great Australian company. Working to secure this deal, much of the credit must go to Evan Evans Sales and Marketing Director Sonya Cameron, who was a driving force behind securing a deal and displayed great passion in identifying how much the VTCA and Evan Evans philosophies aligned, I would like to formally thank both Roger and Sonya on behalf of our board and greater membership on getting this partnership done. I anticipate this will be a longstanding arrangement – Again Thank You.”
